UMW Chamber Festival: The music department will have their Chamber Festival on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in Pollard Recital Hall, Room 304. This is a free event featuring student, faculty and professional groups. Featured groups include the UMW Chamber Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, String Quartet, Clarinet Quartet and Mixed Instrument Ensembles.

The Chappell Great Lives Lecture Series, Augustus:

The Great Lives Lecture Series continues with a talk about Augustus on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in George Washington Hall, Dodd Auditorium. Karl Galinsky, author of “Augustus: Introduction to the Life of An Emperor,” will present the lecture.
