Men’s basketball season comes to an end while women prepare for CAC tournament

The University of Mary Washington men’s basketball team finished off their season with a 98-79 win over Wesley College last Saturday to end their season. After suffering four losses out of their last five games, the Eagles triumphed over the Wolverines to end their regular season with an overall record of 12-13 and a Capital Athletic Conference record of 8-10.Read More

Men and women’s basketball back in action

Basketball is back for men’s head coach Marcus Kahn and the rest of the UMW men’s basketball team. Coming off a disappointing season last year, which followed up an Elite Eight appearance in 2014, the Eagles are looking for a different outcome. Last year’s team boasted a brand new look, with only four returners on the team and a whole new coaching staff, led by Kahn. The new look Eagles led by Kahn and then senior Taylor Johnson finished last season 8-19.Read More
