With the release of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II” in summer of 2011, many Potterheads undoubtedly wondered what would become of a series of films that spanned a decade. Thankfully for fans of the iconic series, J.K. Rowling continued to develop her wizarding world in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”

July 21, 2007 marked the beginning of the end as “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” was released at midnight. Or at least Potter-heads thought it did.

The world stood in shock as the news flooded social media sites that “Harry Potter” star Alan Rickman died at age 69 on Jan. 14 after battling pancreatic cancer.
In the past week, popular author JK Rowling broke the cardinal rule of literature, and backtracked a major plot component of her beloved and canonical series, “Harry Potter.” Rowling, in an interview with Emma Watson for Wonderland magazine declared that she regrets pairing Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger as a romantic couple. She even went further to say it should have been Hermione and Harry Potter all along.
There are very few people today who do not know about the magic behind the world of Harry Potter. However, some fans were recently outraged at the idea that Rowling’s statement that she may have made a mistake by putting Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley together romantically.
