With March Madness quickly approaching, you are probably stressing about which teams will pull off an amazing upset to advance to the next round. This tournament is unpredictable, to say the least. March Madness may be one of the most exhilarating sporting events worldwide, as the top 68 teams in the country square off in games where no one is safe and winner takes all.

March Madness is the college sensation that sweeps through the nation for just three weeks out of the year. It is this phenomenon that captivates the attention of the nation where a high number of people set aside some time to form a bracket, to compete against their friends. It ranges from people who know absolutely nothing when it comes to college basketball to even those who have played basketball professionally.

It is mid-March which means it is time for March Madness. This is when different phrases like RPI, conference championships, last-four-in, first-four-out and bubble teams arise. Those terms no longer matter because after Sunday night’s Selection Show, the stage is set. Ever since the NCAA Tournament began in 1939, brackets have been alive and well.
