The holiday lineup: must see new movies of the season

‘Tis the season for reboots, remakes and sequels. If you’re wondering what movies are worth watching this winter break, this comprehensive list is here to help you navigate through this season’s latest cinematic offerings. Since a lot of the movies coming out these next few weeks are continuations of franchises or reboots, I have given each of these movies an approval rating, based on whether that franchise is still fresh and hyped up or whether its overdone. Terminally ill Star Wars fan’s last wish fulfilled before death

Daniel Fleetwood, 32, only wanted one thing before he died, to see “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” the latest addition to the popular franchise. Fleetwood was diagnosed with connective tissue cancer in July of 2015, during which time doctors informed him he only had two more months to live.
