Sloppy Joe in Seconds
4oz (1/2 cup) leftover chicken or pork
1-2 Tbs barbeque sauce
1 hamburger bun
Mix shredded chicken with barbeque sauce and microwave until warm
Spoon chicken mixture into a hamburger bun and serve
*To shred chicken, pierce the chicken with a fork to hold it in place with one hand. Using your other hand, hold another fork with the tongs angled downward and pierce the chicken about a half an inch deep. Pull the fork through the chicken meat and towards the end of the piece, making sure to pull with the grain of the meat. Remove the shredded chicken from the fork and pile it in a microwave safe bowl. Repeat.
Use leftover hamburger buns to make garlic bread by toasting the buns in a toaster oven or dry frying pan and then topping them with butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
